Administrative / Biographical history

George Herbert Godsell was born in England in 1867 where he practised as an architect. He came to Australia in 1905. He worked for the NSW Government architect, then joined the firm of Robertson and Marks of which he later became a partner. He was president of the Institute of Architects of New South Wales in 1921.
