Arthur Hall was born in Granville, NSW in 1896. He was working as an overseer on his father's properties near Nyngan, NSW, when he enlisted in the A.I.F. on 3 April 1916 at the age of 19. He embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A40 Ceramic, 7 Oct. 1916 and joined the 54th Battalion in France in Feb. 1917. He was wounded 30 Mar. 1917 and hospitalised...
