Sir David Storey was a director of the Society for the Relief of Destitute Children from 1903 ... and he took a keen interest in its Randwick asylum, so this photograph is possibly of their school.

Administrative / Biographical history
Sir David Storey lived at Sherbrooke, 20 Coogee Bay Road, built ca. 1902 and it was
occupied by the Storeys until the death of Ruby in 1967. It was demolished in 1970.
Miss Ruby Storey was a foundation member of the Red Cross Society and was awarded the Florence Nightingale medal in 1949
