Administrative / Biographical history
Painted in 2006, the image relates to the old Delprat Mine Shaft sunk in 1900, which was the original Broken Hill mine close to the line of lode, and close to the centre of the township. The shaft was named after BHP general manager Delprat and is was a tourist attraction for some time.
