Administrative / Biographical history
Ebenezer Vickery (1827-1906), merchant and manufacturer, had two sons Ebenezer Jnr and Joseph. With a large trading and importing premises in Pitt Street, Sydney, he took his sons into partnership, becoming E. Vickery & Sons. The family played a prominent role in the Methodist Church for many years. His grand-son was Ebenezer Frank Vickery.
