Administrative / Biographical history

In 1846 Reverend Henry Tingcombe, a newly ordained deacon, became the first Church of England minister in Armidale, NSW. In 1858 he was appointed third rector of St John's Church, Camden, NSW. He also served at Bathurst and Sydney.
