Administrative / Biographical history
Henry William Meggitt (1852-1928) migrated to Australia in 1895. He was involved in the linseed oil business in England, and his son Harold Meggitt (1881-1949) pioneered the linseed oil industry in Australia.
Harold established the firm of Meggitt Limited. He resigned from this company in 1917 and in 1923 opened another business known as Har...
