Notes
General note
The name John M. Blaxland Jun Newcastle ... 1821 appears on the back cover ; by comparing the writing in the journal with a holograph letter signed by G. Blaxland, it appears that the writing is not that of Gregory. In the Blaxland Papers A 1322, p. 105, there is a reference to John M. Blaxland having discovered the first road to the Hunter River....
Signature / Inscriptions

"[?Mr J., or, John] M. Blaxland Jun. Newcastle. August 23rd 1821" -- last page of journal.
