Administrative / Biographical history
Eve Langley (1908-1974) was born in Forbes, NSW. She went to New Zealand in 1932 where she married and had three children. She returned to Australia and spent the last years of her life as a recluse in the Blue Mountains. She is best known as the author of the novels The Pea Pickers (1942) and White Topee (1954).
