Jeffrey Smart (b. 1921), realist painter, grew up in North Adelaide. He went to art school and then began teaching at Goodwood Boys Technical School.
In 1948 he travelled to Europe, returning to Australia in 1951. Shortly after this he gained a role on the ABC Children's Hour - initially a radio program that later moved to television. He jo...
