Administrative / Biographical history
The Society of Arts and Crafts of NSW was formed by six craftspeople in 1906. It may be the oldest surviving craft organisation in Australia, and in 2006 they celebrated their hundredth birthday with an exhibition at Manly Regional Art Gallery and Museum.
