Lieutenant-Colonel Windeyer Alexander Ralston, 1885-1971, soldier and barrister, was the son of A. G. Ralston. He enlisted 7 May 1915, aged 30 and embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT Ceramic, 25 June 1915. He served in World War 1914-1919 in New Guinea, Gallipoli, Egypt and France and was awarded the D.S.O., 1917 and C.M.G., in 191...
