WIlliam Francis Sheahan (1895-1975), barrister and parliamentarian, was born at Tumut, NSW, son of Jeremiah and Mary Ann Sheahan. He was educated at Tumut, St. Patrick's College, Goulburn, and the University of Sydney, where he graduated Bachelor of Laws in 1930. He was admitted to the NSW Bar in 1930 and established a practice in the criminal jur...
