Caroline Ellen Moore, 1882-1956, actress, also known as Carrie Moore, was born on 31 July 1882 at Geelong, Victoria. At 13 Carrie was taken by an uncle to sing for J. C. Williamson and made her first professional appearance in December 1895 in Williamson's pantomime, Djin-Djin.
