Israel ‘Sammy’ Sampson (b.1890), emigrated to Australia in 1916 and settled in Sydney. Outside his accounting career, he was involved in writing theatre, writing plays and stories (under pseudonym of Max Eyb). He married Chloe Gibson (b.1910), a physiotherapist, and had two children Danny (b.1944) and David (b.1949).
