Eva Serdy, nee Lukacs, born in Debrecen, Hungary, 1932. Father worked in management position in Christian bank in Budapest. Family middle class and not religious. Began study at Jewish high school in 1942 as Jews no longer able to attend State schools. Germans marched into Budapest in March 1944. Father procured false papers for family. He kept job...
