Dr. H. Martin Doyle (1859-1929), medical practitioner and parliamentarian, was born at Ballan, Victoria. He was educated at St. Patrick's College, Melbourne and in Europe where he studied in Ireland, Paris, and London qualifying as a surgeon in London.
