Attributions / Conjectures
This painting and DG 374, DG 376 had been previously attributed to a Mrs Catherine Gordon because of a label pasted on reverse. In 1971 the Library's Art Restorer examined this painting and compared with others by Peacock held in the Library. He thought it was probably by Peacock as it shows identifcal brushwork to DG 204 and DG 205 -- Mitchell Car...
