Soiled and slightly foxed, with paper adhering to top edge.
Sir William Dixson's large red stamp is placed at lower left corner of plate mark.
Note on card: 'No 1, 30 Proofs'.
The plate has been cut down on all sides, removing the signature together with much of the foregound.
Signature / Inscriptions
Signed 'Sydney Ure Smith'.
'8' is written in pencil in bottom right corner and '19-11' on back.
