Identified after comparing with an unsigned daguerrean panorama of San Francisco published in 'Mirror of the dream', which shows the church, El Dorado Gambling House and Jenny Lind Theatre in 1853.
Restored 1984, by Geoffrey Major; report with photograph taken before restoration filed in Pictures Section.
