Administrative / Biographical history
Max Rudolph (Rudi) Lemberg (1896-1975), biochemist, and his wife Hanna Lemberg (1899-1998), textile artist, were both born in Germany. They fled to Cambridge in 1933 and migrated to Australia in 1935 after Rudolph accepted a position as Director of the biochemical laboratories at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney.
