Administrative / Biographical history
Elizabeth Farm was the family home of John Macarthur and his wife Elizabeth. They commenced building it in 1793. In 1904 it was purchased by William Swann. After repairing the house he moved in with his family, members of which lived there until 1968 when it was sold to the Elizabeth Farm Museum Trust.
