Administrative / Biographical history
A. H. Benham, a labourer of Dubbo, New South Wales enlisted in the 4th Battalion, A.I.F. 16 Oct. 1916 at the age of 24 and embarked from Sydney on board SS Port Nicholson, 8 Nov. 1916 and served in France 1917 to May 1918 when he was invalided to England. He returned to Australia on troopship Mamari, 21 Dec. 1918
