Administrative / Biographical history
Donald Munro Shand (1904-1976), was a grazier and farmer on a 4000-acre (1619 ha) property, called Woodville, at Puddledock, near Armidale. During World War II Shand had set up the Women's Agricultural Security Production Services groups and with the co-operation of other landholders, he organized mass production of primary products.
