Janet Dora Hine (1925-2012) was the only child of Arthur and Violet Hine. She attended North Sydney Girls High School and in 1941 commenced her 41 year career with the Public Library (later State Library) of NSW. While working as a library assistant she studied part-time at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1947 with a Bachelor of Arts degree...
