One Rolleicord twin lens reflex camera (Schneider-Kreuznack Xenar 75 mm f/3.5 lens serial number 1181242) and accessories are housed in a vinyl carry case lined with corduroy.

The camera is housed in a leather case marked ‘DUPAIN’ on the inside flap, leather straps are damaged.

Attributions / Conjectures

Jill White believes this camera was one of the cameras Max Dupain used for his Culburra photographs.

Date note

The model has DRP and DRGM on the front of the camera means that it was probably made before the end of World War II. DRP means 'Deutsches Reichs Patent' (German Reich Patent) and DRGM means 'Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchs Muster'.

Conservation note

The camera is in good condition for its age with signs of wearing from normal use.
