The papers of Major Wingate with the exception of an invitation to Government House, Sydney, all relate to his life before arrival in Australia or to events outside Australia. The Terry papers are mainly letters from Mrs Terry's agents and tenants with a very few draft replies. In many cases the covers only had been preserved.
