General note
The frame is early 20th century and consists of a wooden backing board, and a sample mount board. The frame has an attached label of Leonard Joel.
Frame is located at: F500 in Framed Pictures Store.
Accompanying the watercolour is a small piece of paper with the inscribed word 'Chadwich'.
Signature / Inscriptions
Signed and dated lower right, "G Roberts [?] 1842"
After Roberts signature there are indecipherable words that cannot be determined.
On the reverse of the frame there are also indecipherable words but a clear date of 1842.
