William H. Gill was a fine art dealer. He ran the Fine Art Society, Melbourne, Victoria, at first as a department of Robertson & Moffat, then in 1912 he set up his own gallery in Alfred Place, moving to 100 Exhibition Street in 1920. The gallery closed in 1940
