Leslie Morris, a Salvation Army officer of Haberfield, Sydney was born in Glen Innes, New South Wales and enlisted at the age of 29, 6 Dec. 1915. He embarked from Sydney on board RMS Mongolia on 8 July 1916 and served as a stretcher bearer with the 1st Australian Light Horse Field Ambulance in Egypt and Palestine, returning to Australia 3 July 1919...
