Gerald F. Weingarth was Chief of Protocol of the First Fleet Re-enactment Company who emulated the voyage of the First Fleet with a group of ships travelling from Portsmouth on 13 May 1987 and arriving in Sydney on 26 January 1988 as part of Australia's bicentenary celebrations.
