Administrative / Biographical history

Braham (Abraham) Stern was born in Svalava (Czechoslovakia) in 1930. In 1944 he and his family were sent with other Jews to the Mukachevo Ghetto (Munkács Ghetto) and then were transported to Auschwitz (Poland). A few weeks later, Braham was moved on to Mauthausen-Gusen Concentration Camp (Austria). A friendship with two other men helped him surviv...
