Bookplate collection, ca. 1890-1937 / compiled by John Lane Mullins

The collection, compiled by John Lane Mullins, includes original designs, sketches for and copies of, bookplates by Australian artists, Harold Byrne, Lionel and Norman Lindsay, G.D. Perrottet, Gayfield Shaw, Adrian Feint, D.H. Souter, Tom Roberts, Percy F.S. Spence, C.H. Hunt, Albert Hanson, Hugh McCrae, Ruby Lindsay, and others. 

Copies of bookplates from United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States are included, as are published works about bookplates from non-Australian societies. Mullins also collected Christmas cards from George and Muriel Perrottet featuring G.D. Perrottet's designs, letter-heads, monograms, crests, etc. used on stationary. Medals and badges belonging to Mullins are also in the collection.
